Eating Seasonally This Spring
Spring well and truly has sprung, and, it's time to spring into action (pun intended) and enjoy the cornucopia of colourful fruits & veggies that this season has to offer.
Eating fresh produce that’s in season has many benefits like being better quality, heavier in nutrients, wallet friendly and eco friendly by reducing the carbon footprint of your meals. Not to mention when you buy fresh and in season, you’re often buying more local products and supporting local farmers too.
So, what's on the menu this spring? Here's a sneak peek at some of the goodies you can look forward to, followed by some of our favourite recipes we’re road testing in the Connected Women office this month.
